Description

Vintage (or possibly antique) low steamer trunk travelling case made in the 1920s probably. Wooden construction with metal covering (aluminium or tin, most likely), bound with steel and hardwood struts held with brass brackets. Brass locks on the front (no keys, sorry) and a central brass catch (incomplete). Steel handles on the end; there was another on the front but its drop is missing. Lined with patterned paper inside. Would make a great coffee table or side unit for a lamp etc. Condition is pretty good structurally; cosmetically there are plenty of marks, scuffs and dings but nothing too bad. Paper inside is quite worn. Dimensions: 100cm x 50cm x 32cm high
